Tomato Paste

Tomato paste is made by cooking tomatoes for several hours and reducing them to thick paste. This is then being strained and formed in to a thick concentrate  Tomato paste is widely used in Italian dishes. It is widely used in stews, baked dishes, pastas, pizza and other dishes to give it flavor and substance . Tomato paste is thicker than tomato sauce or tomato puree.
