Black Beans

Black beans are most commonly found in American cuisine.  They are very popular among vegetarians. a complete protein meal is formed when they are combined with brown rice. They are very high in fiber, protein, and vitamins, also contain calcium, iron, and manganese. Black beans also have high levels of flavonoids, particularly anthocyanin, which has antioxidant abilities.
